Guernsey Transformation Programme

I’ve been training with Ged for about 7 months now, having started on a 6 week transformation programme, before joining the gym and now I’m training for a power lifting competition, losing weight and definitely getting stronger and more toned!
I joined because I needed to find something to get me back into training/exercise after about 7 years of doing very little. I had previously been very active – rowing, running, weights - but after a few aborted attempts at getting back into running, going to the gym, etc. and a lot of doing very little, I was feeling sluggish, unfit, had definitely piled more than a few pounds on and was just generally not the me I wanted to be.
So, I contacted Ged to ask about joining the gym and had a great chat with him. I felt he really knew his stuff, was passionate about what he does, understood what I was saying and had a pretty good gym too. He told me about the transformation programmes he was running and so I joined one.
BEST THING I’VE DONE FOR A LONG TIME!
I get stronger every week, I’ve lost body fat, I feel more “me”, which has helped me at work and in general, and I feel motivated – so it feels sustainable. I’ll admit that for about 4 months I didn’t really follow the eating plan that comes with the transformation programme so I lost a bit of weight but nothing too noticeable, but I do follow it now (albeit with a weekly splurge) and have steadily been losing weight since the New Year. I’ve found it to be easy, sustainable and effective – I just needed to follow it and adapt it to suit me.
I’d recommend R A Fitness to anyone, whether you’re an experienced athlete or have never exercised before. The atmosphere is great, everyone is supportive from Ged, to his team, to other gym-goers. As I said above, best decision I’ve made in a long time.
