As well as being a level 2 British Weightlfting Club Coach our head weightlifting coach, Ged has competed both at national level, winning a Silver Medal in the British Championships 2015, also Internationally where he won a Bronze medal at The European Champoinships 2015. 
You can rest assured that you will be taught correct and safe technique in line with British Weightlifting's Technical Model, we regularly host British Weightlifting Coaching Courses, so you could say this is the place where the coaches come to get coached .

If anyone wants to learn and become proficient in the Olympic Lifts, Ged's coaching is absolutely class, Had the pleasure of being coached by him during a 3 day Strength & Conditioning workshop. Not only does his experience speak for itself but has the fine art of coaching down to a tee. Had never overhead squatted without pain...never mind completed a snatch....a couple of quick, expert fixes from Ged and I finally managed a snatch for the first time.
