You're possibly thinking "hey my trainer has sold me fat burners, what's the big deal?" I personally think it shows a real flaw, not only in their training but also within the moral compass. I would ask yourself "why are they offering me these?" If they offered you something that would make you lift more weight, throw further, jump higher or run faster, would you take that too?
First and foremost your trainer should be encouraging you to adopt a healthy lifestyle, with good eating habbits not offering a short cut, to me this really shows a lack of skill & education within their profession.
Seccondly, they quite simply DON'T WORK!, yes they'll make you sweat like mad and feel jittery but you still need to be in a calorie defecit. Why not simply eat a bit less & don't take the drugs? Crazy I know, but guess what, you'll save money, be putting less chemicals through your body and probably be doing yourself a massive favour in the long run.
So why is your trainer offering you them? Quite simply they're trying to line their pockets, selling you "snake oil", and if/when you get results, guess what, they try to take all the credit for your hard work!!!
So if you're trainer is offering you drugs to take a shortcut, you should think about what their motivation is, basically they're crap so run a mile, unless of course like towellie says you " WANNA GET HIGH?"
I have had hundreds of succesfull clients, who have all had their results through their hard work, healthy eating and some good information from me, the most important factor is creating a better lifestyle choice for them, that will last forever, not just as long as you're taking the pills.
If you or somebody you know has a trainer that's selling you the next magic pill or potion, please get rid and get in touch, by filling this form in and I'll have you back on track in no time.
